Building a drum sander has always been very simple, it's basically just a box with a lid. It's very important that this lid is flat and smooth to achieve optimum sanding performance from your drum sander. This top is pre-cut and made from MDF with laminate on both sides.

By no means do our sanders only work with our tops. In fact, we encourage our customers to build their own. It is however imperative to have a strong, flat top. We have these tops available for customers who either struggle to get a top flat by themselves or just plain don't have the time to build one.
