Yes, because of the quality of steel from which this blade is made, it can be retipped many times.

It is capable of cutting 2-1/2" deep but we strongly recommend not more than 2" to keep the blade cooler. The blade tips need to be 1/2" above the work piece to give the best cutting performance.
How many times can this blade be sharpened?
10 to 15 times, depending upon how dull the blade is.
Can I have our local sharpening shop sharpen it?
We would not recommend it. It is too thin to take the risk of ruining it.

We actually developed the beginning stages of this saw blade in the early 1990’s for the industrial wood cutting market. It was primarily used for multi-gang saw ripping applications. Because of the trend of our foreign trade policy in the late 1990’s, this caused most of this market to leave our shores to be manufactured in other countries. We chose not to follow this market overseas, but wanted to help the remaining struggling U.S. manufacturing companies perfect their cutting capabilities.
